Nicky Scott started her ice skating career at 13 months old when her skating parents
British Professional Pairs Champions Tony & Angela Scott sent her gliding off on double runner blades. Her travels took her worldwide touring with Holiday on Ice, Folies Bergere Paris as a principal dancer, and also a principal dancer for Julio Iglesias in the famous Siempre en Domingo TV Series, Mexico City. Living in Rio de Janeiro for several years traveling back to the UK annually to perform in undoubtedly the world’s leading ice show, the award-winning “Hot Ice" in Blackpool as principal showgirl for 16 years. Followed with a return to stage as principal showgirl in the unique & outstanding cabaret ”Forbidden”. She appeared in prestigious companies & venues worldwide on ice, stage, TV & film. Enjoying and developing her skills with different opportunities. She brought this vast array of experience into choreographing & producing shows on an international stage including the following to name just a few.
Nicky was fortunate to start her career in a truly golden era bringing the discipline and professionalism from that time into the "here & now" adding a fresh, creative approach with her production company/agency "Hot & Cold Shows Int.", focused on both ice & stage, receiving critical acclaim for her choreography and productions. A final mention must go to “Ultimate Showgirls”, which is a collaboration with the "British Ice Skating" associations leading off ice specialist Kelly Buddery. Together they developed a course of intense workshops “Ultimate Showgirls” providing training for talented young skaters & dancers who are preparing to start their professional careers. Helping to develop the next generation of ice skaters and dancers is a personally rewarding aspect of Nicky’s professional career in the entertainment industry. |
